    • 1-1/2 teaspoon Baking powder
For the filling:
  • 1 cup Chicken , boiled and minced
  • 1/2 cup Green peas (Matar) , boiled
  • 1/2 cup Onions , finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Garlic , finely chopped
  • 1/2 tablespoon Ginger , finely chopped
  • 1/2 tablespoon soy sauce
  • Salt , to taste
  • Fresh Red chillies , or green chilli
  • 1/4 tablespoon Whole Black Peppercorns , crushed

Steps

1) Prepare all the ingredients listed in the recipe for chicken momos. To mince the chicken, boil it.

2) Green peas should be boiled and kept on hand. Grate or finely chop the ginger and garlic.

Making the skin for the dumplings
1) Refined flour, salt, baking powder, and water should be combined in a mixing bowl. When the flour seems crumbly, add water and knead to form a firm dough. The dough should be set aside for about 20 minutes while being covered with a damp cloth to prevent drying out.

When making the chicken filling
1) The chopped red or green chillies, onions, chopped ginger, and garlic are added to a wok that has been heated with one tablespoon of oil.

2) Add the boiling chicken mince and boiled peas, and stir-fry for about 4-5 minutes.

3) Add the soy sauce, salt, and black pepper after removing it from the fire. Because soy sauce already contains salt, use caution when adding more.

4) Equally divide the dough into little pieces. Roll them out thinly to a circle shape after forming them into balls.

5) You may also use molds to create moms, which will level out the procedure and make it simpler.

6) To make chicken momos, take a dough disk, wet the sides, and insert a spoonful of chicken, peas, and sauteed vegetables in the center. Bring the edges together to cover the filling, and carefully twist to seal the momos. Continue until all of the dough and filling has been used.

7) While you wait, prepare a steamer for dhokla-idlis or dim sum, fill it with water, and set it aside to boil. Place the momos on the steamer and let them cook for 15 to 20 minutes, or until they are well cooked.

8) As a snack in the evening, serve Chicken Momos Recipe (Delicious Steamed Chicken Dumplings) and Peanut Chilli Dipping.
